Radio frequency skin tightening

Radio frequency skin tightening reduces the appearance of fine lines and loose skin with an aesthetic technique that uses RF energy to heat tissue and stimulate subdermal collagen production.

Reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin

Radio frequency skin tightening (RF) is an aesthetic technique that uses RF energy to heat tissue and stimulate subdermal collagen production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin. The technique induces tissue remodeling and production of new collagen and elastin.

The process provides an alternative to more invasive cosmetic surgeries and treatments. RF treatment also causes apoptosis of fat cells, which leads to fat layer reduction in the treated area.

Reduction of fat

By manipulating skin via a hand held device during treatment, RF can also be used for heating and reduction of fat from the body, most commonly on the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, upper arms and jowls. RF treatments are to used to noninvasively manage and treat skin tightening of lax skin on the face or body as well as wrinkle reduction, cellulite improvement, and body contouring.

The Multi Polar RF technology painlessly delivers energy into the tissues on the skin and subcutaneous fat layers. This causes a pleasant gentle heat sensation which makes the treatments very comfortable. There is no damage caused to skin surface due to the heat being produced in the deeper structures.

3 in 1 treatment

The RF treatment is actually a 3 in 1 treatment combining RF, Vacuum Suction and Light Therapy.

The vacuum element allows further improvement of skin tissues by increasing lymphatic drainage reducing excess fluid and improving circulation.

The Light Therapy works to increase natural collagen production, increases oxygenated blood flow and stimulates cellular growth and new cell rejuvenation.

Quantity and frequency of treatments

Typically, treatment requires a series of 8-12 treatment sessions lasting 20–40 minutes.

Sessions are recommended to be taken every 7-10 days apart (5 days minimum between appointments)

Notes and recommendations

Clients with metal implants or electronic device implants are not permitted to have RF Treatment.

It is recommended that clients who wear contact lenses remove them prior to treatment.

It is possible that RF Treatment may cause any Injectable fillers and Botox to break down faster than normal. These areas can be avoided during treatment.

It is recommended that the body treatment is used along side a diet and exercise regime to achieve the optimal results and is not considered to be a “weight loss” treatment, but as a complement to when improving contouring and cellulite is required.
